Did you know that certain foods have the ability to reverse early atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and improve blood pressure? Sessions are geared to those who want to improve their cardiovascular health, with a focus on anti-inflammatory foods, foods that remove LDL cholesterol from the body and naturally reduce blood pressure.
Labs: Metabolic health panel (fasting blood sugar, cholesterol, triglycerides, liver function tests as needed)

Your diabetes is as unique as you are. An eating approach for one person may not work the same for you. Healthy eating is one of the key ways to control your blood sugars, but eating styles are not always easy to change. Your Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist will answer all of your questions about conflicting information you may have heard and provide you an eating plan and coaching based on your unique blood sugar patterns.

Individual Sessions – Signature Program
Your first session is 60 minutes with the diabetes educator and includes assessment and goal setting. Follow-up sessions focus on your unique self-management challenges.
Self-management behaviors address nutrition, monitoring, medications, physical activity, healthy coping, reducing risks and problem solving.
CGM Nutrition for Diabetes
Diabetes Self-Management education & Training
Trial CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) and see how your blood sugars are influenced by different foods, timing, portions, and even exercise. This technology will empower you to feel more in control of your diabetes.
Your Diabetes Care & Education Specialist will train you on the device, show you how to use the app, and recommend nutrition modifications based on blood sugar trends and patterns.
PreventT2 Lifestyle Change Program
Diabetes Prevention Program
12-Month Lifestyle Change Program (Group)
This year-long program aims to prevent type 2 diabetes through interactive group education, activities, food demos, wellness challenges, recipe sharing, and guest speakers. Each session will focus on a topic ranging from healthy eating, physical activity, reducing stress, improving sleep and much more. You’ll make new friends and share stories, challenges and successes.
Participants may not have been diagnosed with diabetes in the past. All participants who commit to one year receive a free consultation with the Whole Nutrition Dietitian at the beginning, middle and end of the program.
